i consider myself a plural person, in the most literal sense possible: many things shape me at the same time, no hierarchy between them. film photography teaches me to wait for the result without knowing if it worked, books teach me that every good story has a rhythm before it has an ending. neither of them lives apart from the work, even when i can't point to exactly where they cross.
